    Early to mid 90's V4 gearcase on a V6

Just curious if a gearcase from a mid '90's V4 would fit on my '91 V6 (VE200SLEID) without any mods.
I would be using all the existing internals from the V6 - gears, propshaft etc.

    Thanks,

Here is a pic of the V4 Case if it helps:

Nope. If you need a housing Gearcaseman may have one. Give Eddie Pope a call his number is in the one stop shopping like at the top of the page.

He can use the a V4 case with V4 internals in it though right? Just wouldn't last very long?

Another thing to consider is that a 14-1/2" prop for a V6 would most likely hit the cavitation plate on that gearcase.

I run a 1993 120 and my 13-34" Raker is very close to hitting the plate.
