1993 evinrude 225 vindicator carb / vro replacement help

I have a 1993 evinrude 225 e225stl that I am getting ready to rebuild the carburetors and replace the vro pump with all new oe parts. Just wondering if there are any special tools I need to get before beginning or any tips that yall know of that might prevent any problems I am not an experienced outboard mechanic but have plenty of mechanical experience working cars in body shop for last ten years. I am using a factory omc service manual as my guide. thanks in advance
