    Boat ramp on Falcon

Does anyone have the GPS coordinates for the Zapata County ramp? I've never been there.

Ask a local. Small town easy to navigate.

It's pretty much across the road from Falcon Lake and Tackle at the light. You'll turn to the right if coming from Zapata. Going kinda into the subdivision. If I remember the roads are mark going to it. It's a nice ramp.

It sounds like it's a long way from Tiger creek. I guess I'll have a long, rough boat ride.

If you are going to fish tigers you would be better off to put in at the state park, 6 mile run vs maybe 12 no sure on distance but damn sure closer.

Smooth water, short ride. Rough water, and you don't want to make that run. Make the 30 minute drive down to the state park by the dam.

If it was up to me, I would launch at the State Park by the dam. I'm fishing a tournament, and we are launching at the County boat ramp.

If it's rough, I'll install my High-5 and stay close to the ramp. If it's calm, I'll bolt on the Razor-3 and head south.
