A friend of mine guided for bass and crappie there. The key was to find what I thought were very small brush piles they put out. Seems they only cut the tops off of small trees and drop them for their brush piles. Crappie fishing was awesome around these little brush piles. I asked why they didn't put out larger brush piles and he said that everyone would find them that way.
