Woke to NWS email reports:
"THE NATL WEATHER SVC IN HOUSTON/GALVESTON HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING RIVERS.

TRINITY RIVER NEAR RIVERSIDE AFFECTING TRINITY & WALKER COUNTIES

FOR TRINITY RIVER AT RIVERSIDE, MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.

A LINE OF SHOWERS & THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A COLD FRONT MOVING THROUGH SOUTHEAST TX DURING THE OVERNIGHT HRS HAS PRODUCED 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN..WITH ISOLATED AREAS IN EXCESS OF 7 INCHES. OVER THE TRINITY RIVER WATERSHED ABOVE LAKE LIVINGSTON. RUNOFF FROM THIS RAINFALL HAS PRODUCED A DRAMATIC RISE ON THE TRINITY RIVER AT RIVERSIDE.."

I hope this stuff keeps up and that the low lying residents have canoes

It all blew up right after it went over us.

TB came up about 6 inches just over the weekend and all the creeks were still pouring water in. Up about 4.5 feet now from the low point.
