    Fire extinguisher required

I know it's proper & legally required to have a fire extinguisher on the boat and having a bracket keeps it where you need it...

But come on, did it have to be right there?? with THOSE screws???

Several years ago my dad had a guy bring a boat into his shop for gelcoat/glass repair. He called me to look at it,guy used drywall screws on his hotfoot install and they were sticking out at least a 1/2 inch.

Yeah, I've see some crazy stuff too and I always get a kick out of it One I liked was someone that screwed 3/8" stainless plate across the back of the boat to "reinforce the transom"

Yeah Cork, that's the ol KingFisher I was ripping old unused & unnecessary wire out of it today & noticed that. I've always loved gutting a ride Actually I had seen the screws poking out when we went & got it, I just smiled & asked for the name of their boat mechanic.

Indeed WB, Marine Tex is part of my "I got a tool kit, I can fix it" arsonal
