I talked with Skip for good long while yesterday, he said they are doing great. Just doesn't have anything to say on here.

No, I got a job offer that was way too good to turn down. Since ol' Stompy was in the construction industry too, he knows exactly what I will be doing and who I'm going to work for. I'm going to be a general superintendant building a new school out this way. Got an email today from my new boss saying that they are even increasing my pay by an extra $100 a month from what they hired me on for. So, no guiding (except maybe on weekends) until the end of July. But, now having health insurance, the fact that I don't have to touch a tool and the fact I would have to guide 6 days a week to make this pay, made this decision a no brainer.

I doubt anybody hurt Skips feelings. I think he's above that.
I've gotta say, that man really is my hero. Seriously.
He's truly impacted my life. Whenever I start throwing myself a pity party for whatever reason, I think about all he has done and been through with a smile and it makes me feel pretty small.
He's an inspiration to me may be a very overused phrase, but when it comes to Skip, it's spot on.
That's one special dude right there!
The Big Man was looking down on me the day he let me meet Skip.
Sorry to get serious in the TBC. I'm more sarcastic and full of it than the rest of you. That just happens to be one topic that means a lot to me.....and I know it does to you too.
