    2/10 & 2/11 report

    We have open water at a few sw Iowa lakes. I was able to get my 2024 seasons started earlier then even! Wt 40-41* had good numbers for this early in the year. Got bites on a jig,jerkbait,rattle trap. Nothing over 2lb, but man did it feel good to get back on the water! Not sure what next weekend will bring? Looks colder but never know!

    Still low. But I would say up maybe 1ft? We definitely need most lakes in sw ia to come up about 2ft more to be full pool….
