    Lost my fishin buddy

    As you all know, Ron has been having a setback after setback with his cancer. He's been fighting the good fight but lost his battle this morning at 12:36AM.

    I had been up to see him Monday and then left town for OKC Wednesday morning. Becky went up Wednesday after work then called me saying they were moving him to the hospice floor on Thursday. I got back in town last night an met Becky out for dinner. We talked about going up to see him today, but the Lord called him home.

    Please keep Ron and Linda in your prayers ...

    A goog friend indeed. I will miss him very much. He is resting in peace now. I know his battle was hard on both him and his wife Linda. May God bless his soul. Linda we will continue to keep you in our prayers.

    No man of Ron's worth should have to fight that terrible losing battle like he did. It just plain sucks. His misery is over and Linda will no longer have to see him in such a way.

    Thats terrible news for sure, one good thing at least he is not suffering anymore. Never had the oppurtunity to meet Mr.Ron but had lots of IM conversations with him in the past, seemed like a very nice man and a one of a kind person. He will definitely be missed by me and I'm sure everyone in here.
