Have a good weekend? I spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday fishing and I am flat wore out! Had a great time and caught some fish but more importantly got to spent a lot of time on the lake! Friday I mostly just looked for beds and didn't actually fish but for an hour, cumulative. Saturday I fished till 3pm and only caught 10 fish but had a great time doing it!!! Today I took the lil lady out and we fished from 8am to 1045 due to the howling winds but we caught 15 fish in that short amount of time...all on a trap...I LOVE trap fishing...its 2nd behind a good old worm! That reminds me...the little bit of fishing I did Friday, I threw senkos, chatterbaits, and a shakey head...but I caught my one fish on a tornado!

All in all it was a great weekend just to be on the water! I hope you all had a great weekend as well!!

Weekend was great but we were thoroughly skunked
The scenery was breathtaking, especially the enormous flocks of white pelicans & many cranes, herons & seagulls.
Karl did catch quite a sun burn - he'll survive

I fished Thur and Fri. I spent yesterday at Academy and Wal-Mart and had lunch at Famous Daves BBQ in Abilene. Today I messed with the boat and did a few light chores around the ranch...

I spent the weekend doing chores as well. Was on-call at Winters Hospital and spent a few hours there Saturday afternoon. Hate that gig but the extra $$$ is nice. Spent most of today planting flowers and working on the deck extension for my brother-in-laws Champion. All in all a nice working weekend.
