I thought P4’s were sought after?

I’ve had mine posted in several places for about 2 weeks and just one guy asked a few questions and not about price. Saw a 15 posted last week and not much interest. Based on his price and Blue book I should be in a good spot.
Just really curious has the used boat market gone back in a lull?

Prices look to be dropping fast in the used market, I think interest rates have guys spooked.

all boat markets are in a lull there are a lot of folks that spend 90 k on a boat but smart ones dont spend 90 k an 8 to9% interest with excellent credit.

The used boat market is flatter, which in turn effects the new boat market. There are plenty still moving, and the number in the middle ranges seems to be where this starts getting softer.

They used To be! And in my honest opinion the best 19 ft and change on the market!! It takes someone that knos cats to realize this! I looked for months before my p2!! Most wanted a 225 on this hul back then. ! Know days if it's not a 250 and wide it's trash! Be patient some smart person will be along that wants a good semi fast hull that fishes really well!!

PIV’s are still sought after. Time of year & the market is not helping anything. Be patient and drop the price a little every couple weeks until you get some interest.

Yeah time of the year (after Labor Day)may have something to do with it as well as the interest rates. Honestly I’ve been torn on selling it anyways so im kind of taking it as a sign I should keep it. Still, it is paid for and I can always post in the spring again if I wish to.

Time of year and interest rates. Used boat prices are down and going down which in turn will hurt new boat sales. I think we are coming into a day and age that boat manufacturers are going to feel the hurt. Really any toy manufacturer is. Toys are only fun for most people during good times.

I used to own a P4. I thought it was the best 19 footer made. until I got a redesigned classic. this new classic has more storage, a bigger deck, rides better, handles better. I don't think the P4 is as desirable as they once were because of the 19 foot options now available.

I hear you. I thought mine would sell pretty quickly with all of the add ons it has
Have had 2 deals that I thought were done and they backed out at the last minute each time.

Luke it's a crazy time. Spring usually gets folks buying unless a great deal to be had. Yours is.

Any PIV is super sought after, I always enjoyed trading for them. However, one thing we noticed is that you have to find the right buyer still. It is on the edge of being more of a niche boat. A normal pre-owned buyer can get a lot more boat by going with a more value based brand for the price of a PIV. You are searching for the guy that values BCB, and values the boat they are looking at. Typically, the PIVs I would have would hang around until I found the guy that loved BCB .

I've got one and it'd be tough for me to get rid of...I recently considered it then came to my senses. You get a lot of boat stuffed into 19.5' with the P4. Fast enough with a great ride, great when it gets rough, more storage than I would ever need, fishes great and just barely fits in my garage straight. Plus mine was built in '03 so I've got the resins that the EPA banned in '04.
