Which temp sensor does VVM read?

2004 Mercury 225 EFI two strike
    Mirage 48-19838 15P
    5700
    Idle water pressure 4.3 psi
    5010 rpm was 12.2 psi
WOT PSI still need to collect
Analog gauges with Vessel View Mobile

This engine has a temp sensor in each head. Does VVM display alternate heads or just one?

Average reading between port and starboard. Will need diagnostic software to see individual temp readings for port, starboard and compressor.

That's good to know thanks. Average is fine. It's not an Opti so no compressor sensor.

Think of it as a "smart average" (and it's programmed logic will lean more towards an overheating condition than a cold condition). Mention this as a stuck-open PORT thermostat can result in an engine that seems to be up to temp (if STB side can't fill completely with water it will be warmer than normal).

Is the smart craft gauge the same as far as taking an average?

No, there is only one analog sensor.
