2022 250 Yamaha Sho to Garmin 126sv

What do I need to get my engine diagnostics to display on my Garmin 126sv? I already have NMEA 2000 run throughput the boat. Is there a cable that runs from the motor to the NMEA?? These maybe dumb questions, but I’m asking😂.

Yes, there's a cable that connects to the motor under the cowling. On my 2023 200 SHO it was a PITA to run through the grommet. I recommend giving Goldenchannels.com a call, they specialize in NMEA and sent me exactly what I needed. It will plug directly into your motor on on side and into the NMEA backbone on the other. You may need to add a T to your backbone depending on your setup.
