carolina rig on little structure lakes

I use a carolina rig, quite a bit on a lake that doesn't have much rock and mainly has standing timber and stumps. It does catch them really well there if I'm not spending time unsnagging my bait, I switch to dragging a texas rig but this is much slower and felt like I was wasting a lot of time. Thoughts on the above?

    note the weight was 3/4oz

Sounds fine to me as I fish one a lot. But mostly when I am fishing over 10 feet of water. In trees I fish a spinner bait if there is some wind/current and a top water when it’s calm. Getting hung up is necessary if your going to get bit!

    Wobblehead jig is another option.

My alternative fueled by my resistance to fishing the C-rig. Skips well with a Zoom Z-craw too.

Prefer Texas rig in timber. It works well on bottom or as it is sinking on lighter weight.
