Have always had Carpeted boats, but never cared for the hassle of carpet.
Looking at a Textured paint option, How does it compare to the marine grade vinyl in terms of Comfort, getting hot under your feet, etc. ?
I like the option of doing some multi species fishing and occasionally used live bait, and want something that can be washed out with soap and water and not have to worry about staining Carpet with bait, blood, mud, etc.
I have the rawhide in my Ranger. Its nice and cool, doesnt hurt your bare feet. I power wash it when its dirty… soap/water/brush works but the power washer does it quick. Carpet sucks, you wont regret it in my eyes.
Good to know I was worried most about it getting very hot under foot.
