Rant about some Sorry boaters / fishermen

I returned back to the ramp this morning after a great morning of fishing.
There on the other side, on the dock, some (you fill in the words, as my words would band me for life!), left 5 plastic bags and one old ratty ice bag. No doubt, these bags at one time had frozen bait in them. They could not even put them to the trash bin less than 100' away.
I hope that they will smoke their motor, because of a plastic bag gets wrapped around their water intake. GO KARMA!

All I see is more evidence that this country has some of the most uneducated, selfish, uncouth, lazy (feel free to add whatever adjective you like) people on the planet.

You forgot entitled. I think that is the biggest issue. I was leaving our city dump a couple weekends ago. A family pulls up to the dumpsters with a trailer load of stuff. Unload it and we both get done at the same time. I am following them out when half way down the gravel road leading out of the dump they throw a couple soda bottles out the window into the woods They were literally at a trash dumpster less than one minute ago and couldn't throw the trash in there. It's infuriating everywhere you go and I think it's worse in the south honestly. We are so fat and lazy down here it is pathetic. I actually sold a piece of property outside of the city limits because of it. I would spend an entire Saturday picking up trash down the road frontage. By the next weekend there was that much or more out there. Everyday people drove by and threw trash out the window. I'm getting mad thinking about it and I don't even have to deal with it anymore.

Reminds me of the old tv commercial with the Native American standing looking at litter with a tear running down his face.

The church I attend is across the street from the local baseball little league fields, a couple of guys have to show yearly every Sunday to pickup the trash people leave when they park in our parking lot. It’s a shame the stuff they throw out leftover food wrappers to dirty diapers. We voted not to make the parking lot off limits since there is not enough parking for the ball fields.

    Yea I don't get it
I always carry the plastic bags from the grocery store in the boat
So simple fill the trash bag and throw it out, Or the boat cooler collects the trash

There are days I'm amazed at the trash I find in the front lawn

I sort of disagree on the 'uneducated' part. Most are decently educated. So much so that they feel it is beneath them to take care of their own waste. Always knowing that someone else will pick it up. I've actually heard people say, 'it's fine. They pay people to clean it up, so I'm helping keep people employed". There were not many poor, uneducated people hanging out at Churchhill downs. Plenty of entitlement.
Hang on. I'll help you in 77 minutes.

Always try to leave a place better than when we got there but not all of us practice that and some really do the opposite.

It so frustrating to see people driving and tossing trash out their window. Almost any store parking lot there is trash everywhere and omg why oh why do people think it is okay to throw dirty diapers out.
I think it is all classes of people that do it. Kinda like yard and house upkeep. Drive an most neighborhoods and there are well maintained lawns and then dumps.
