Yea I remember that.
There was a camera boat in close proximity to Howell that captured the whole incident think you can get a glimpse of the stern in that video and they reported it to Trip.
I guess it being brought up and posted in the 3 other threads just wasn't quite enough?
If I remember correctly someone waved him through to do that. Thats why G is pointing in the beginning.

Howell didn't have an observer that day. It was the camera boat driver that reported it.

That was just dumb. Passing that close on plane, dumb. I believe G-Man has grown up a lot since then.

They had video later of him talking to Trip on the phone his statement that Randy Howell waved him through didn’t play well with Trip.
Trip asked G if he’d waved you through a Red Light would it be OK to speed through it and G politely answered it’s your call and owned it.
Yeah I had that video but didn't post it. Should not matter if Howell waved him through. The other boat is who was in danger. One wrove move and you have a huge wreck. Caught on camera

Gotcha, I did not think Howell was the one who reported it but that was a long time ago so I did not remember.
I am sure Howell waved him through to do 70 mph 10 yards from his boat haha Im sure that's what Howell had in mind. Even in the video Howell was like "he shouldn't have done that"
I’d rather have a boat pass me on plane than plow through like a barge with a big wake. I wave boats by all the time on the river. Probably why Howell waved him through as well.
