    digital trim sender

hello, repowered to an opti 1e053692. has digital trim sender, used a 14-8 harness conversion. all good.

installed an sc1000 tach only with harness straight to motor. all good

issue is existing trim gauge pegs with key on. so would swapping to analog sender 821180A 6 be the cure? I'm ok with no trim info on tach. While searching Don mentions possibility of back feeding voltage to pcm.

    Greatly Appreciate any guidance, bryan.

should fix you right up , unplug sender from harness gauge should not move at key on

This would be the cheapest method of getting your analog gauge working.

HOWEVER: if you have a 2-1/8" hole size trim gauge, you might consider just getting a System Link trim gauge- then both would work.
