    Special Thanks To Tommy Hagler

My brother-n-law & I decided to help Tommy out on his new career choice & had him take us out on HC this past Saturday.

This was my 1st go with a guide so I really didn't know what to expect. Tommy & I spoke several times before heading out to let him know exactly what we were looking to accomplish. I was looking to gain a bit of the knowledge of that lake it took him 30+yrs to obtain in about 5 hrs time.

He delivered just that and more. He put on water we had never given a 2nd thought about hitting. I'd like to say we whacked em but he did put us on some quality fish. We would have had a boat load if I knew how to set the hook.

For those wondering, no we did NOT just throw Tornadoes all day. Sure, we did throw some and they produced a couple in the 3-6 lb range.

Overall, a great experience with a great guy! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services to anyone. Well worth my time & money. Thanks Tommy for a great day on the water.

I was over at his house getting some worms last Thursday and he was telling me of a guide trip to HC Saturday. He's a pretty good guy that's helped me out a bunch. Hard to leave there without a box full of goodies.

Thanks for the extremely kind words!! I wish the spinnerbait bite wasn't off like it was. I was glad to show you those spots you've been overlooking. That one grass flat spot out in the middle of nowhere will get you some fish at one time or another. We should have fished it that afternoon. But, we were having fun back in the back of that cove for too long.

Yea, he said you picked up a few gallons.

He gave us a ton as well when we finished up.

Thanks guys. I grew that "stash" so I could eat breakfast and take some of it with me to munch on during the day.
