Have any of you guys had a problem with your e-tech spinning hubs? I spun mine out today in a tournament was 30 miles (
) away from wayin site when it happened. Do you think BRP will make good on the prop? Do any of you have any idea what my cause this to happen? I have never hit anything and the prop is in mint condition.
BRP will take care of the problem, get it to your dealer.
There were some hub problems but they have been addressed.
I spun one this past weekend. It was on a Raker II. Jet-a-Marina in Calvert City KY sent someone out to me on the lake with a brand new replacement prop. The new one has an extra brass thrust washer over the rubber insert. Talk about great customer service. All N/C. ZC
Mine was a Racker II as well. It would have been hard for my dealer to bring me a new one on the water as I was about 4 hours away, but you are right that is great service.
I think I am going to try a Tempest Plus 26Pitch see how that works.
They changed the design of the hub on the Raker II's because of the problem you and I had. I think that the new one should be fine. I really like how it handles and performs. ZC
