looking for input on where to look next i seem to have a fuel problem with my 1978 johnson 115 all cylinders are firing carbs have been rebuilt at WOT the boat has no power if you choke the engine its seems to take off sucking more fuel into the motor i have replaced the fuel line and primer bulb and rebuilt the fuel pump i done a comprestion check all 4 cylinders holding 100 lbs im at a dead end and dont know where to go next any ideas would be greatly appreciated TIA Steve
Its a long story going back to last summer when i dropped 2 cylinders bad stator i have had the stator replaced replaced both power packs and all four coils just so i would not have to worry about them they seemed to all be the original parts very old i was told by the mechanic that the check valve in the bulb was bad so i replaced the fuel line and rebuilt the pump one diaphram and one gasket i just dont know what else could be starving it for fuel im going to pull the stand pipe out of the tank to see if the screen my be stopped up any more suggestions
How about the anti siphon valve at the fuel tank??
Just can't leave well enough alone!!
