Hello - I'm new to big outboards and new to this site. I am very close to purchasing a boat (1985 Rybo Runner) that was repowered in 2004. The structural survey has been completed and I am waiting for the engine service records before we go to sea trial. I was told that the 300 hour service was completed about a month ago. The boat has the following motors:

Port - Model E250FCXSTA - Serial # 05017992 Mfg 9-04
Stbd - Model E250FPXSTA - Serial # 05015659 Mfg 9-04

I am hoping somebody out there can help me with my due diligence by providing some details on these specific motors. Note that the one cover has the Ficht injection decal and the other one has a Direct Injection decal - I thought this was a bit strange. I could also use a recommendation for a mechanic in the Ft. Lauderdale area.
