    Helix power cord to 8 gauge power supply connection?

    Good day,

    I have a 8 gauge marine grade wire ran to my console that is dedicated for electronics. I am going to be running a helix 15 at console
    I am wondering what the best connection would be to drop down from a 8 gauge to the 16-18 gauge that comes with the helix power cord?
    I was thinking a non insulated step down connector but just wanted to see what others have done.

    The BEST connection is a terminal block or fuse block so the splice is supported.

    One more for fuse blocks. All the connections can be rings. Assuming proper skills and tools, easiest to make.

    I just re-rigged my Skeeter bow. No butts anywhere from battery to units.

    This. Run it all to a fuse block and run the graphs to that. Keeps all the fuses easy to change also.
