I have a auto bilge pump switch on the dash. What is the switch for ? If the bilge is auto what is the switch for? Thanks for help.

You have two bilge pumps in that boat - one manual and one auto

You can switch the auto pump on manually if you want! Nice feature!

I have a 2015 z119c and have always wondered about the auto bilge. So if the power to the boat is off/charging and my boat is sitting on the water in the rain, it's supposed to come on when the water level triggers the auto bilge, right? If I manually push the auto bilge switch it runs constantly. TIA

I added an auto pump to my ranger. Had an extra switch also. I wired mine to be able to turn the auto pump off when I didn’t need it. If I left boat in water over night I would turn it on. If power is left on pump float switch could possibly get stuck on burning the pump and I my not know it until I need it

Let's say you spear a wave and fill the boat with water. When you reach down to hit the bilge button, you can hit both and get the auto pump started right away instead of waiting for the water to drain to the bilge and lift the float.
