Well today I was able to get on the lake finally. I got some days off, unfortunatley my day off was not yesterday, which was about a 75 degree day and beautiful, but I was at work and they would frown upon me fishing at work!Today it was about 53 degrees when I got on the water with a pretty strong wind. The water temp was about 63 by the outlet of the power plant and 59 by the inlet. The only fish caught today was in a 5ft cove on the inlet side on a watermelon super fluke. I couln't pull anything out of the outlet with anything. Thinking of going out to Fayette County Lake. I've been fishing Lake Bastrop for years and have done pretty good on occasion but just thought some of yall would have some tips for Bastrop and Fayette. Never hurts to improve! Thanks and happy fishing!
