I heard the same. They will sell those boats only and not get any more from the companies that make them. I don't know about the service end.....
I was at the boat show at Reliant last night. Spent a lot of time at Texas Marine's booths intensly studying the new SHO Yamaha. They said they picked up the line from Dawson and will continue to sell Skeeters and G3.
That new FX Skeet looks pretty sweet.....Verdict is still out on the "plasma infused, sleevless block" of the SHO.
I thought there was something with Skeeter that they could not sell another line of Bass boats, such as anything Genmar I remember when Dawson had to let Champion go, it was either them or Skeeter and they went with Skeeter, but they did pick up Blazer which really didn't threaten the sales of Skeeter. I guess times have changed. I just heard something completely different from what I thought was a reliable source. I guess not....

That's what the sales guy told me......who knows. He was probably just trying to get me in a Skeet. It's safe to say that'll never happen.
