    Double ethernet switch

    I did a quick search and didn't see anything addressing this. Can you piggy back ethernet switches to give you more network room

    Yes, up to three of them to give you 11 device connections.

    Yes, and it doesn't matter which ports you choose on each switch to connect them... as long as you have an Ethernet cable between them.

    Would it cause a problem to go ahead and hook the ethernet cable to my existing hub that will be for my future hub and leave it coiled up in the bow

    I would be more inclined to install the cable but not hook it up to the switch until you are ready to use it. No need to risk having an additional RFI source.

    The situation of a cable only hooked at one end invites interference.(it is an antenna until you are grounded at both ends ) As Steve says run it ahead of time just don’t hook it up till you have the other switch to hook it to. Make sure to ground the second switch’s cable as well. Bob
    To be clear, The ground lead should have a secure connection to a ground bus and not a convenient negative wire to insure a good ground. JMO
