    Amistad hotels

Hey guys, I'll be fishing the Central opens this year as a coangler. I'm looking for info on Del rio hotels, primarily ones close to the launch site at Lake Amistad Resort. The one listed on Google are all in downtown Delrio, and I'm not sure if that is a good place to stay or not? Any help finding a decent place to stay that is close will be greatly appreciated.

We stayed at the Ramada 8 nights for 59.00 a night in Sept. Was a special because of the championship but call and see what they will do. Lots of parking.

Thanks JR, after a few hours of looking, it looks like all the hotels/lodges are in the same spot. The Ramada should do just fine.

This is a great place to stay and it is close to the lake. Carl will take care of you and he has all the latest baits and the food is great. Allot of fishermen stay here.

Here is another one out that way if Carl is full.

I always stay at the Ramada....ask for a room in the business section on the back row......good lighted boat parking with electrical outlets.

We got a room in the Ramada. We won't have a boat since my buddy and I are co's this year, but it is good to know for future reference. I will be sure to stop by Carl's to check out the tackle shop. I hope he stocks up before 400 anglers bombard his shop...

Anglers Lodge is the best. Carl has great facilities and keeps a tight watch on the boats at night,,,security is great. The Cafe there is pretty good too. I always load up on Diannes breakfast tacos. Plus, Carl has about the best tackle shop around.
