** Preparing my boat for the Mini Rally !! or PIMP my Champion :)

I was thinking few days a go, this mini raaly is going to be the first MR in my life, actally the first tournament too and I want show my Champion in the best posible shape (for a 19 years old boat) so I start to work this weekend.

First: sanding, polish and glaze.....
Second: Replace windshelds
Third: Replace seats
Fourth: Replace Decals
Fifth: New tires

dead line : 10/18/09

Yea Bill you can keep a boat looking right Reggie's if you do like he does, "Don't ever use it"

Jordi--Keep working on your boat, most of the old boats are better built than the new ones.

I remmember doing all that to my last boat Jordi and it was alot of fun! Good quality time between a man and his tools! When it was all over and finally had it the way I wanted it I revieved alot of offers to buy it. I ended up selling it to my brother which was the only person who really knew how much work i put into it and paid me for it. I rewarded myself by putting the money into my new Skeeter, but I do to this day still miss my old boat. Seems like you kinda bond with them things when you work your arse off on them doesnt it?

Oh yes, actually my worst feelling is "what I'm going to do when I finish" I use to restore old Mustangs (65,66,67,68) in Mexico, I was single and was very fun go to the shows and everything now my kid help me to restore this one, I have 5 months with the lady and is so fun work and take care of her, also I spend good time with my son and THAT is the IMPORTANT thing.
