Saturday March 14th we headed out to Lake Amistad. We got there in the evening. The Pro's were still fishing Sunday so we spent the day site seeing and shopping. Fished Monday and Tuesday without boating a fish. Unusual for that lake. Spent Wednesday getting a crack in the boat trailer welded and getting the trim gage fixed at the Ranger dealer there at the lake. Fished Thursday and caught 15 and missed (got off at the boat) another 5 or 6. Friday morning we headed out to OH Ivey for the Rally. And as we went through San Angelo we had a blowout on the right trailer tire. Got the spare on with the help of a man that lived about 100 yards from where we were. Went back into San Angelo to a tire store and bought two new trailer tires for the trailer and we were back on the road to OH Ivey. We got there Friday afternoon and while we were taking our rod and reels off the boat Martha stuck herself with a treeble hook from a topwater popr. Found an RN who removed it for her. She was a trooper, put a bandaid on it and said she was ready to fish.We visited with the others BBC'rs Friday evening and fished the rally Saturday and then the Saturday evening dinner and awards thing. We visited alittle more Saturday evening. Got up Sunday morning and headed home. Got home around noon with no other incidences. Got unloaded and rested the rest of the day. I have to get everything on the boat re-organized and back in order today. Our 32nd anniversary was Wednesday March 18th and we spend the evening eating at a nice steakhouse at Lake Amistad. We had a great trip with a few bumps but those things didn't slow us down one little bit. It was a great vacation and was topped off with the Rally at OH Ivey. That Rally was one of the best we have attended sense we started doing them. Everyone there had a great time. We met some great people at it.
