Sorry we missed the rally, but it was a good thing we stayed home !

I'm sure Bill mentioned we had some family issue that precluded the trip. Laura was REALLY upset and had been looking forward to this for months.

Well somehow the Lord sure does work in mysterious ways. Friday morning we'd run some errands and on the way back home my truck started shifting rough..then wouldn't shift at all. I checked the fluid and drove it a little - and by the time I got home, I could barely get it in the driveway .... looks like my tranny has $hit the bed. Well it gave me 165,000 miles of a lot of towing so I guess I can't be TOO upset

But I tell ya, it was a good thing it happened here and close to the house and NOT on I35, a couple hundred miles away while towing a boat !!

So now I guess I get to spend a little more and get me an upgraded bulletproof BTS transmission. Silver lining to the cloud I guess ..

man that sucks Temple, but your right.....it wouldve sucked for that sucker to break down out in the middle of no man's land. we missed y'all though. you just missed Martha and Skip wearin us out
