    Help Please. My 1992 Mariner 40 HP beeping

    If I turn the key even just to the accessory point it beeps and does not stop. Good pee stream and no smoke or any other indication of trouble.

    The motor is a 1992 Mariner 40 HP, serial # OD12642. Any suggestions? I really can't afford to pay for a shop repair right now. Thanks in advance guys.

    disconnect tank sensor see if it stops beep, = bad tank float = replace tank
