How to know when you hit the 300 hour mark...

I have a 225 HO E-Tec. Is there anyway for me (end user) to check and seee how many hours are on the motor? I fish a bunch of local tournaments and just want to keep the motor happy!!!

why don't they have an hour meter that is standard for every boat? all of my tractors have them. One is from the 50's.

There is no way other than keeping up with your hours or having the dealer check them for you.

OK Thanks...I didn't know if there was a serial port that would use hyperterminal or something like that....I'll just take her to the dealer at the end of each year!!!
