    Anyone been to Lake Lewisville?

I have another BFL next weekend. This one is at Lake Lewisville, and I've never been there. Does anyone know what this lake looks like? I've been to Lake Fork. Does this lake look anything like Fork? I doubt it has as many trees as Fork. I'm just trying to get an idea of what to expect before I get there. Since it's Spring time, I'm sure we'll be fishing shallow. Any info on the lake would be appreciated.

Its sorta 'bowlish' with depth......filled with water.....

It's been about 35 years, but try the rocks and boulder points. Boat houses.

Went out Fri and fished some with my pastor. We cought 1 fish. The lake is stained, about 1ft low. There's lots of cover and very good looking this year. What area are ya'll fishing out of? I am a mile from 4 ramps.

    Thanks, Crazy Elvis .

I'm the co-angler, so I don't know where I'll be fishing or who I'll be fishing with. We are taking-off from Lewisville Lake Park. I would assume that we'll be fishing shallow, since it is Spring. Can anyone tell me what kind of shallow cover this lake has? Also, if there are certain colors that the fish like, that would be very helpful.

Steve....lots of timber.....actually Lewisville is 2 lakes.Thw old lake and the new lake.On the north end there is a lot of timber. The old dam has a cut that you go thru to get to the old lake.Good spot is the cove on the west side where the new hiway bridge is being biult, easy to find, Lots of good protected pockets in there.Another good spot is south side of old dam oneast side(make sense?) thats where old fish hatchery was.....lots of timber ,old concrete walls, foundations, big piles of rock/concrete rubble.Always fish in there in the spring.Rattletraps,chart./brown back Bandit flatt max, greenish crawworms, brown jig/black pork have been doing well for brother & I.Good luck.
