Took Trish to the orthopedic surgeon to have her right hand looked at. The doctor did verify that the wrist was fractured and a small piece of bone was floating around along with her small finger also being fractured. The good news was that the injury would not require any surgery and they immobilized it to keep the injury minimal. They removed the cast the ER staff had put on the wrist and placed it in a more flexible splint that would keep it immobilized; however, would allow her to clean the injured area.
