Alright, I have read everything that we no longer need a boat license, GOOD!! Last year I remember being told that as of Jan '08, you would need a passport to get back into American waters if you fished the Mexico side of Amistad / Falcon. ( I can't begin to describe what feelings I would have if I (tax paying, business owner) were stopped on the water coming back over and detained when we have let illegals in our country with no consequence!!!)
Anyway, just wanting some clarification on the issue, I am not sure how they would enforce that unless they would not issue a Mexico License without the passport.
"sir, you are not allowed to re-enter American waters!"
"fine, I will fish until 6:00 on the mexican side, at 6:05 I will be running 65 headed to diablo east where you can meet me and my attorney, and the local news stations"
How did we get so upside down in dealing with Mexico in the first place?
Rant over! Feeling better, but would like to know the on the water border crossing status as of Jan 1.
