i have a 1996 Evinrude vindicator 200 and i am currently running a 4 blade 25 pitch renegade is there another prop maybe a 3 blade of some sort that i could try to pick up a couple miles per hour??? help me out guys

You should be able to spin a 26 Raker II Pretty good or a 25 Tempest plus. Both are good props. The Raker will turn very close to the same rpm, you are getting with the gade the Tempest will be just a bit higher in the rpms but not much. Your hole shot will not be as good but top end will pick up 2-3 mph. Not much gain for the dollar spent IMO.

yeah kinda what i am thinking..... the 26 raker II would that be a 3 blade prop?? so raker props would bolt right on to my boat?
I see no where that says your current rpms or mph.... I personally don't think your motor will turn a 26 pitch anything efficently and with speed....
i am running about 68ish gps speed with 5600 rpm and i have a 4 blade renegade 25 pitch..... heck i may just need to leave it alone but i dunno thought i would ask
Yep the raker is a three blade prop you will have to change your thrust washer. The old style raker's blades are "stiffer" than the raker 2.
24 or 26 Raker, one should run better than the 4 blade you have.
ok well i guess i am going to try to find me a 26 raker and a new thrust washer and see what that does for me thanks for the input guys
My boat runs well with a tempest. You might also want to consider trying a trophy too.

If your only turning 5600 with a 25 4 blade, you probablywon't spin that 26 raker 5300 or so.... I would hunt for a 24raker or a 25 tempest... easier to make the progression bigger at the prop shop than take it away...
Send to Mark C for b and b with perf specs-hull if you want to avoid buying another prop...
