    lake fork

    going to lake fork last week in march is it a good time to fish at fork. i have been there in april did not have very good luck coming from kentucky.any help thanks.

    it depends alot with the weather.. i have been there on trips from middle of Feb. till late April, always done better on my late april trips..... make sure you got some red rattle traps. need to get a trip down there myself

    Feb-March is primetime on Fork....Feb will be prespawn pattern (rattle traps, spinnerbaits, rogues, etc..) and March will start the full on spawn with big females on the bed for mostly sight fishing. You can fish a prespawn/postspawn pattern Feb-April for GREAT success.

    I will be on the lake from Feb-April myself....see you there!

    Being on Fork is good anytime.....As said catching the weather right will play a big
    role, but any bite could be over 10lbs......
