    Outboard Oil........

Went to the big Tracker dealer in Longview today to get some oil.......I used to get it back in Florida for around $13 a gallon.....it was in the clear plastic bottles that the dealer fills themselves........I have a 2001 Merc 225 EFI.........the cost per gallon today was $23.....

anyone close to Longview know where to get it any cheaper?? and what do the rest of you pay per gal.????

Plano Marine has the bulk yamalube, and I think they also carry the merc brand bulk as well.

CE, what kind of oil you using? I buy Quicksilver at Walmart for 13.00-16.00 gal. and like has been mentioned take your jugs to Plano Marine which you pass on the way to Tracker and buy the bulk. Tell Jeff (one of the salesmen) to fix you up cause I said so and he'll run you out the door, On second thought that won't happen cause he is short (won't come much higher than your waist line).

    Kelly,
It's going up EVERYWHERE here........I was paying around $10-$11 per jug for Premium Plus QuickSilver and it has almost doubled since this Spring

Just about right, gas down to $2.46 gal and oil about that much an ounce.

I can see the increase with regular crude.
But how do they justify a 50% increase in synthetic oil
