    Killeen Area

Hello everyone I have a couple questions for you. I am a new boat owner and just got back from Iraq. I live in colorado springs but will be traveling to Ft. Hood for work in about a week and will stay about two weeks. I did take the boat out here twice to try and get used to it but still need some practice. Haven't fished the low land in a long while. Can anybody provide any tips for that area? Or heck any tips for a newbie on a boat?LOL Thanks everyone.

Talk to Skip. He lives in Temple and is very knowledgeable of the lakes and general boating. Plus he is a heck of a nice guy with a great family.

    Re: Killeen Area (Chris Brewton)

Thanks everyone. Hope to be able to do some good down there. Dragging a boat for 1200 miles will sure suck some fuel. Hope its worth it. Water is still dang near Ice up here so I am looking forward to it. Take Care, Dave

We're getting plenty of rain this week and that is a good thing for the area lakes.
