I've been attending the Texas Fishing, Hunting & Outdoor Show at the Arlington Convention Center in Arlington TX and believe it's one of the best of it's kind. I've talked with lots of guides and lots of "wanna be" guides while at the show and I believe Bob Holmes with Bob Holmes Guide Service is one of the best. I've got several friends who have fished with Mr. Holmes in the past and they have all had a great time and caught lots of fish. They have all said that he's a guy that knows his business. I met Mr. Holmes this evening while attending the tackle show and I have to say that of all the guides I met and talked with he was the easiest to talk with and seemed to be interested in all I had to say. He puts on no airs - he seems to be genuine! His booth is aligned with Oak Cove Marina as Mr. Holmes launches out of Oak Cove's launch area. I would tell anyone and everyone who would like to know more about fishing for white bass on Richland Chambers Lake to go by and visit Mr. Holmes. I did and believe me me and my family have already booked a fishing trip with him.
