Would Lake Monticello with 7,000 acres, near Columbia be a good lake to fish ? any cabins or hotels close by ?
It is a good lake to fish, it has LM and was told SM in it. As for lodging, the nearest place I can think of is at Exit 27 on Interstate 77 (Blythewood, SC). A short drive to the lake, also stay away from the nuke power plant, security gets alittle fussy about getting to close.
