I am coming down to Myrtle Beach in begining of may and want to know the closest lake to go bass fishing.. I cannot stand sitting on the beach..Coming down with wife, kids , and inlaws...I need to go fishing..

closest lake is atleast 1 1/2 hours, maybe even more like 2 from the beach. Go to the Waccamaw river, it will actually fish better than the lakes do in the summer

Closest place is the Waccamaw thats for sure..
Anyone want to go fishing?? I am a guide out of western ny..
