Went out this morning with James for the first time in many years. We had a very enjoyable day. Water temp was only 47at the start and rosse up to 57. The wind was relentless. We got a few in the boat. We hope to try again next weekend. Not done yet.

We were fishing in Mass before we came to Maine. A week ago Friday we were fishing in Mass and had a great day We caught a lot on top water. Nothing huge. Now we are fishing in Maine and the fishing has not been great and as of yesterday we were freezing our butts off. In the Belgrade area. The 3 days previous to that we fished and caught a few but the weather was not too bad. Actually we caught many fish on top water here. Water temperature is still 59 to 60°. But the weather has changed. Cold. 34° this morning with rain and cold on the way for Monday and Tuesday.

Tim, you are doing a lot better than we have been doing. That's why they call it fishing. Nice fish.

Six at Pleasant, 5 still on the summer pattern on a T-rig. Just under 60 degrees. Is there a public launch at Long? I've dragged a kayak and ice sled out there, didn't see a ramp though...

Hmm, Gary Clark missed it too. '84 edition says he didn't find it. '94 says even less!

It’s a small dirt ramp with parking for just a couple of trucks

No signs and in fact one of the lake residents(Marines flag house) talks to us every year. He tells of the recent fishing and where there is bumps and rock piles. The ramp is right next to a small beach area. It’s in a neighborhood that’s kinda rural and the ramp road is dirt and could easily be confused with a driveway

Thanks Phil. The one time I went there we couldn't find it.
We had gone by a couple times.
A lady came out and flagged us down then asked if we were looking for the ramp. The next time there was a sign.
