My 150 Fast Strike is being rebuilt

Well, I bit the bullet and told the mechanic to go ahead and get-er-done. He advised that after boring the cylinders 0.030 inches that the carb will need to be up-jetted as well.

What will the horsepower be after this rebuild? Will I need to reprop (I have a 24 Raker)?

Apparently parts for this motor are more expensive than most?

    Thanks,

    JWP

I guess my question about HP was stupid, based on the answer.

Not a bad question at all, it's asked all the time but unfortunately there's no power gain from what you're doing. Once you figure out what caused the damage and cure it you should have a very reliable 150 hp motor.
