    Okeechobee

Well here it is, I'm finally going to Lake Okeechobee. Bad thing is, it's for work. Going to be running all around that lake and won't have time to fish it.

"Got the runs bad and I'm violently puking too. No way I can work today I'm not sure I can even get off the toilet. My ass feels like someone's shooting scud missles out of it. has to be that seafood we ate last night. A couple more hours of this and I'm going to the hospital." "man that trip to the hospital took all damn day. But at least I feel a ton better. They say I got it all out but it left my skin a little red"

Thanks for sharing that with us Fiddlefarter. Now imagine having that same problem after getting out on the water in the boat?

Dont feel bad, unless you're in the cover around " The Monkey Box " you won't catch a thing there now, too, too HOT . I fished Lake "O" most of my life , until I moved to TN in 2009. Fishing on that lake is very tough in June, July and August, unless you fish it at night and even then it's still tough. I would say, go to Roland Martin's Marina, have a couple of drinks and enjoy the view. Also visit Anglers Marina , also now owned by Scott Martin, he's got some beautiful boats there... Enjoy your work related vacation....
