    Re: Pickwick (skeeter18)

I fished out of the State Line Ramp on last Saturday. From noon to around 4pm. Water was mostly 45. Stained but starting to clear. I cant tell you what to use because I don't even know I have fished the last two weekends and have not had a single bite...

I have had to stay out of the wind mostly. Last two trips have been verryy windy...

Anyway it's supposed to be cold this week so I don't see much of a change this week.... Goodluck and keep us posted...

Have fished Pickwick all my life but as the others I have struggled so far this year. Haven't been much but what fish I have caught has been on Husky Jerk jerkbait silver black back. I hope you all do well they are predicting warmer weather this weekend.maybe they will turn on.

i think pickwick has had most people scratching their heads in 2010. i really expect to catch some fish saturday though. Its time for them to turn on.

Ha! I ppreciate the jinks Jon.. Ha. We just couldn't get a big bite. Had a fun day though. I'll take 18 1/2 any day on the water. It's just getting to the point where that ain't gonna be good enuf on pickwick. we had 18.68 and didn't have a 4 lb fish. a bunch of solid fish but never a big bite

We had 4 fish that went around 14 lbs but just never found our 5th keeper. Waiting on the results to be posted to see exactly where we finished. I believe somewhere around 10th though.

Brandon is a tough stick to beat on pickwick. Congrats Are you fishing FOM all year with us?
