Good Experience with Pro Charging Systems (DualPro)

So after 8 months in a new boat, my RealPro Series RS3 battery charger failed. I called the tech support guys in TN on Monday morning and gave them the serial # of my unit. They replied with an e-mail on what to do next. I followed their directions they provided, within a couple of hours they contacted me, indicating they would be sending a new charger. I received it last night via UPS, no charge. Both tech reps I talked to were very helpful, and Pro Charging Systems (DualPro) stood by their warranty. No idea what caused the other charger to fail, but the replacement is back in the boat and I am "cooking with gas now!" Just wanted to pass along my experience with them. YMMV.

My RealPro Series RS3 is has been used for three seasons and still going strong. The only time I thought I had a problem, it turned out to be my battery going bad. He said many of the alleged problems with the charger are bad batteries or corroded connections to the battery or the fuse (charger has to sense at least 5 volts from the battery).

He also said the RealPro can charge Lithiums (it outputs 6 amps at 14.6 volts going to 13.5 - similar to the Minn Kota PC chargers), but you want to disconnect it once it reaches a full charge (Lithiums don't need or want a trickle charge).

It came with the boat, but so far no complaints.
