    tips for bass'n Northern Virginia?

I just started Bass fishin in Northern Virginia. I used to fish primarily in IL and occasionally in WI. Some of my friends and I started a fishing club and used to bass fish against other local colleges. I've been off the water for a year and a half(I originally came here for Marine Corps training and stayed in the area after training) and am just starting to fish again. I brought my boat back 2 weekends ago and went out to Lunga, a small reservoir on Quantico, and didn't have any luck. Granted i was only out for 2.5 hours bc my GF was on the back of my boat and she was sick. I'm real excited to fish here in Northern Virginia because there are a lot more options here than I had in IL. Within two hours I can fish the Occoquan, Potomac, Lunga, and lake Anna. They all seem like excellent Bass fisheries. However, while I was out on Saturday i found out that my outboard wast willing to play ball and wouldn't start. This pretty much leaves me off of all of the bodies of water except Lunga using my electric motor only. I was wondering if any one on here would be willing to take me out to one of these fisheries and show me the ropes around Northern Virginia. Primarily, I fished reservoirs in IL that had water clarity of less than 5'. If anyone would be willing to take me out while my outboard is out of commission it would be appreciated and I can repay the trip when mine is back in working order. I'm new to the club and have posted some pics of my fish in IL.
Also, I would like to know if there are any good Bass fisheries I may have left out?

    Kurt

Thanks! Im reading the rules/regulations for the NOVA bass club. Also, looking at the schedule to see my availability on those dates. I am definitely interested in fishing some tournaments with you guys, but I also have to balance everything else(regular job, Marine Corps drill 1 weekend per month, time with the significant other, fishing with the signficant other,etc..) I think the biggest thing I miss from my College fishing club is the camaraderie at events and competition while fishing with a little something on the line. I'll be in contact and Ill be a regular poster on here Im sure because I browse it at work and plan all week for my couple hours I get per week out on the water.

Ill also get a picture of my boat on here..I notice you all have sweet boats and i think a picture of mine will give you guys a good laugh..Ill say that it has character at least! lol
