Well after having the carbs rebuilt and a linc and sync done the motor ran pretty good but I do have a skip at idle and low rpms like below 1500 but no skip at all at anything above that where do I start to look for this and what do you recomend???

Check your plugs and see if you have one off in gap or possibly fouling. If you have one doing that move it do a different cylinder and run it again. Make note of the cylinder that the plug came out of and if it is the same cylinder bad plug wire or bad coil pack. If it is a bad plug you are only out $2.00.
